Notes from 9 am meeting ------------------------ OPS: Passes 2 over the last day(s) Dumps current Data loss - Load is good -> 013/0300Z CAPs - Next passes 0210 0920 MP: We approved the Jan1402B products yesterday. We are working on Jan2102A products. S/C: The gyros have settled down and all is quiet. Eclipse season is coming up the last of this month on January 31st. Daily engineering plots, limits, and statistics are now available at: > GOT: - DATA: See below. SOT: Proton rates are low. There WAS A M.5 flare a couple of hours ago with a sideways CME. Not known at this time but not expected to be a problem. A very impressive and fast CME was observed in the evening of January 8 from a location just behind the east limb near the equator, this was related to a long duration C9.6 event which peaked at 20:25 UTC. There is a low chance of a CME arriving within 96 hrs and a high chance of M or X class flares in the next 48 hours.
