Observing 3C273 (obsid 3456) with ACIS-S/HETG. Data from completed TOO observation of GRB020531 coming down in current pass. Radiation is low, flux below 100. Very low probability of major solar flare activity. Today's Space Weather: Solar Activity Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be mainly low, with a chance for isolated M-class events, and an associated slight increase in proton flare probabilities as the larger active regions on the visible disk rotate through geoeffective heliographic longitudes during the next three days. QUIET SUN: Solar activity will likely remain low for the next 24 hours. Only the shrinking sunspot 9973 poses a threat for M-class eruptions. Solar Flares: Probabilities for a medium-sized (M-class) or a major (X-class) solar flare during the next 24/48 hours are tabulated below. The 3rd load segment uplinked produced an invalid command count and a memload reject. It turned out that the command system had selected a command load which was in the archive, but with the same name as the selected command load. This was resolved during the next pass (156:0455) by re-naming two load segments, clearing the slots and uplinking the re-named loads. A meeting will be held at 11am today to kick off problem resolution activities. In the short term, a workaround will be developed (involving naming conventions). - We now have 3 load segments onboard and are good thru 159:0930 - Dumps current Mission Planning (Ken): - JUN0402B TOO loads approved and uplinked (as noted above) - JUN10 loads still being worked. Some issues with TOO follow-up timing. - Expect to have revised products out this morning for an E-mail load review S/C Engineering(Dan): - All OK on S/C - Will follow-up agressively on above noted problem SOT(Bill): - See above notes on radiation - SOT GRETA workstation still not working. FST still working to configure machine. Problem symptom is autonomous logout caused by window manager error. - ASVT models telecon tentative scheduled at 4pm DSOPS(Joy): - Three quick looks today GOT(Chris): - All OK Meetings/events: - 10am, star working group - 10am, ground system CCB - 11am, uplink problem meeting - 1pm, FOT managers - 3pm, all hands - 4pm, ASVT models telecon 3) Quick look data: Seq # ObsID It Target start time SI Grat Comment ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- JUN0302D: 600235 02898 00 2 M31-T4 2002:153:23:11:09.000 5.0 ACIS-I NONE 600280 03665 00 2 SGR A* 2002:154:01:42:29.779 91.0 ACIS-I NONE 790077 03574 00 1 3C273 2002:155:04:20:50.727 28.7 ACIS-S LETG
