REAL TIME OBSERVATIONS GMT OBSID ----------------------------------------------------------------- (none) Notes from 9 am meeting ------------------------ OPS: Passes 3 over the last day(s) Dumps current Data loss - Load is good -> (stopped) CAPs - Next passes 1900, 0535 MP: Products are out for the MAR2002 startup. There will be a review today at noon. We maneuvered to a better thermal attitude for EPHIN. We are beginning work on the MAR2502 load. S/C: EPHIN got up to ~81 C yesterday before the maneuver. GOT: A program to install some new software on the admin machines has begun and is ~4% done. DATA: - SOT: A long duration M1.0 event peaked at 02:31 UTC on March 18. A full halo CME resulted, that will likely reach the Earth sometime on March 20. Proton rates are moderate. GOES x-ray flux showed a B class event of ~2 hours duration at ~1000 GMT 19 Mar. LASCO images are available thru 19 Mar 2002 10:20 GMT. There is a high chance of a CME arriving within 96 hrs and a high chance of M or X class flares in the next 48 hours. MEETINGS: -------- Load review at noon. We discussed a "plan B" to use if the 18 Mar. CME hits on Wednesday. We concluded that we should go with plan A and watch the radiation environment. We need a manual momentum dump by day 080.
