It may reach the Earth on March 23. The CME was fairly faint and there is a possibility that it had a backside origin. Proton rates are high. GOES x-ray flux is low, but there was a moderate duration event at ~0800 UTC. LASCO images are available thru 19 Mar 2002 14:18 GMT.
