GOT: - DATA: - SOT: A large and fast full halo CME was first observed in LASCO C3 images on 28 May 16:42 UTC. A long duration C6.2 event peaked just before 03h UTC on May 29. A long duration C8 event peaking at 29 May 05:17 UTC. A CME was observed off the southeast limb shortly after the LDE began. We will likely see high high proton fluxes in the next several days from these events. GOES x-ray flux showed two long duration flares yesterday. Moderate probablility of CME to impact earth within 96 hours. High probability of M and X class flares within the next 48 hours.
