Finish OBSIDs 2737 and 3386, ACIS-S observations of the globular cluster 47 Tuc. These are simultaneous with HST, to study the populations of millisecond pulsars, cataclysmic variables, and low mass x-ray binaries. Then do OBSID 3224, ACIS-I observation of RXJ1720.1+2638, a relaxed cluster of galaxies. NOTES/ISSUES/PROBLEMS From the 9am status meeting: Three supports over the last day. No problems. Last segment of SEP3002B was uplinked, on-board loads are good through 279:21:32. OCT0702B had the radzone entry ACIS commands five hours late. This was corrected in the OCT0702C products, which have since been reviewed and will be signed off this morning. EPHIN temperature was up to 89 deg C. FOT/thermal will report an estimated time which EPHIN needs to cool down, before it can be allowed another 50 ksec sojourn 95 deg from the sun. This is thought empirically to be only a few hours. 3rd string is offline all day for install of EHS 3.9. Some Firewall A work will be done between the 1400 LOS and the 2100 setup for next contact. There was a reminder to lock your car in the parking lot. There have been two recent breakins. Moving company will be working in the OCC today, moving the offices of several CXC Data System Software group people to new offices on Church Street.
