Performing a series of observations of SNR1006 with ACIS-I. Soft proton levels are elevated (about 8000 at 7am EDT) due to the effects of a high speed coronal stream. Several C class flares have also occurred in the past day. These effects may increase over the next two days due to as the coronal stream from coronal hole CH31 reaches the earth. At this time no radiation safing action is needed since the predicted fluance accumulation for the current orbit is within budget. 3-day Solar-Geophysical Forecast issued Apr 8 at 22:00 UTC Solar Activity Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be at very low to low levels. Regions 325(N14W77) and 330 have C-class potential. Geophysical Activity Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be at quiet to active levels. Coronal hole high speed stream effects are expected on day two and day three of the period.
