P4GM= 3.3 NOTES/ISSUES/PROBLEMS Repeating from SOT SHIFT report 2003-04-17 M1365: "SCS 107 autonomously ran on Chandra during realtime comm, at 107:2036 UT, due to high EPHIN P4GM rates. SCS 107 ran correctly. The P4GM rates were high for the current radbelt entry, and also for the previous radbelt entry, possibly due to electron contamination of the EPHIN P4GM channel." Note that obsid remains at 3577 throughout, until we start 4190. We miss two CTI measurements. GYRO A1 current has been quiet since last Friday. Toggling +/- 1 bit around 148.8ma during this morning's pass. From the 9am status meeting: Two 34m supports in the last day. We saw SCS-107 running during the 107:20:30 support. During the 108:1140 support this morning the two segments of APR1803A were uplinked and activated. On-board loads are good through 110:13:50. The ephemeris update CAP will be run this afternoon. APR1803A was generated, reviewed, and approved last night in order to resume observing upon radiation belt exit. We are delighted that the NGST team was able to accomplish this, with the result that only 3.2 ks of science observing time was lost. APR2103B is being rerun for continuity with APR1803A -- products out today for email review and sign-off this afternoon. Due to the activities last night, the IRU-switch run-for-record on ASVT has been postponed to Monday. Mike Juda reported that a look at the EPHIN pulse heights confirms that the P4GM trip yesterday can be attributed to electrons contaminating the proton channel.
