Chandra entered Bright Star Hold after the swap to IRU-B, because Chandra's attitude drifted about 3 degrees from the initial attitude while operating in normal maneuver mode with pre-launch IRU-B scale factor and bias estimates. The entry into Bright Star Hold was expected, but the recovery to Normal Pointing was complicated by a second Bright Star Hold entry. This second Bright Star Hold transition was triggered by the slow pull-in of the large 3 degree attitude error by Chandra, since a null maneuver was commanded, so that the attitude error was still large when the maneuver timed out and the transition to Normal Pointing was initiated. 2) Status at 200:1152, before start of IRU swap activities.
