ACIS focal plane temperature -116.6 NOTES/ISSUES/PROBLEMS email From Rob Cameron on 22 Jun 2003 18:31:28 reported: "It looks like a early perigee radiation event caused SSCS107 to run at 173:18:48:41UT (2 hours before scheduled RADMON disable). SCS107 ran nominally." JUN2303C was rebuilt, reviewed at midnight, and uplinked at the 174:10:35-11:35 comm. We lost 7.5 ks from the 48 ks observation 3871 of the TOO followup SN2003BG. There is no impact on the science observations as planned for the JUN2303 week. Congratulations and thanks to the team for heroic efforts at a quick restart, preserving two coordinated observations starting the JUN2303 observing week. Will probably be discussed further at the weekly rad zone planning telecon, tomorrow at 3pm. From the 9am status meeting: Seven supports over the weekend. Problems with a transmitter, then the TCP at DSS-66 prevented the planned data dumps, but we caught up at the next pass. Uplinked 5 stored command sequences. Two were from JUN2303B and replaced by JUN2303C following the SCS 107 trip and the restart. On-board loads are good until 178:16:21. As part of the restart, ran CAP 675 to re-enable SCS 107. Working JUN3003A, expected out today for a load review tomorrow. IRU A1 was extremely noisy over the weekend, with current spikes up into the 180ma range. Has been much quieter over the last day. We are all happy with the decision to switch to IRU B as expeditiously as possible. Expect a review of the SWAP products and proceedures this week, perhaps Wednesday, perhaps in the star working group time slot. A notice will be sent. Will also have a meeting this week to brief the new eclipse patches. This will present the technical detail, so that the FD-CCB can approve by reference. Rino recommends attending in person, as he will use some animation in his presentation.
