NOTES/ISSUES/PROBLEMS From the 9am status meeting: Three supports, problems getting data during the DSS-66 support of the momentum dump, so switched to DSS-54 to monitor. Ran CAP's 831 to prepare for momentum dump contingencies; 830 for the momentum dump and preload; and 836 for the ACA mini-dark current calibration as part of the DSS-54 NSP demo. May 1203B loads out for review, email review by 2pm today. The momentum dump went smoothly. The A 1 and 2 thrusters showed nominal thrust performance, despite being run for 810 sec. They were cool throughout this dump: 90 to 105 deg F. Gyro a1 currents have been quiet at around 150 ma the past two days, except for a very brief noisy period running between 150 and 180 ma-- a behaviour not previously observed. There will be ASVT testing today for the IRU swap products, starting 1 or 2pm EDT. Telecon this afternoon to discuss radiation zone entry predictions: 3pm on 405-244-5060 1159# Star working group this morning at 10am.
