ACIS focal plane temperature -119.9 C EPH temp 72.95 F NOTES/ISSUES/PROBLEMS From Tuesday's CXC staff meeting: The file sizes for Cas A are exceeding the limit of 2Gbyte. They cannot be handled by some ciao and FITS tools or on some hardware platforms. CXC data ops will split files into two pieces for an immediate solution. Users' of this public data set will need to filter the files in various ways, retaining less information or less machine precision in each, when making a composite of the entire observation. From the 9am status meeting: Three supports in the past day. TLM and commanding lost during the DSS 66 support due to a hydraulic failure of an antenna drive axis, but all support activities were accomplished. One load segment was uplinked, on-board loads good until 122:22:30. Products for MAY0304A were circulated yesterday. Load review is scheduled today at 2pm EDT. OBSID 4575, HRC-S/LETG of LMC X-3, has been sent back by V&V due to elongation of the central image. Needs checking for aspect or instrumental effects.
