ACIS focal plane temperature -119.7. NOTES/ISSUES/PROBLEMS The ACE P7 rates have become very large and noisy. They are clearly spurious, as P6 (and GOES, and EPHIN) remain normal. They triggered several sot_red_alert alarms this morning, but the P7 alarm has now been disabled. (It will continue to be sent to acisdude, and the scaled P6 remains alarmed.) We will reassess at the start of the next orbit. SOT is planning for the ACE operations center to be making the backup EPAM channel p3' available in realtime. We will study how its data correlates with the previous P3, scaled P6 and P7, and CRM rates, and also establish its reliability, before making it our primary trigger. Look ahead: Next VCDU rollover at 2004:031:01:48:06 From the 9am status meeting: Two supports, no problems. First segment of JAN1904B was uplinked, on-board loads are good through 20:05:15 JAN1904A was reviewed and revised, and JAN1904B was approved yesterday. ONLS 3.9.4 installation went well yesterday. The pass just completed used the new installation. First eclipse of the season will be Sunday, Jan 18. We need to run the short eclipse flag CAP this afternoon, then reset it on Monday. Next Monday is an SAO holiday. No routine SOT lead coverage or report.
