After the ACIS team has verified a correct dump of BEP memory, the BEP will be warmbooted and DEA housekeeping re-started, followed by another dump of the BEP memory. This procedure is being executed to provide additional information to the flight SW team regarding the anomalous, premature termination of OBSID 5008. SUMMARY: -------- Due to a backlog of SSR dump data (Chandra had already failed over to SSR-B at start of COMM), the CAP execution was pushed until 19:30 GMT to allow SSR playback. Intermittent dropouts in telemetry plagued the EEPROM dumps (SCS 196) both before and after the BEP warm boot. Other than those dropouts, the CAP was executed as planned. We received a pre-warm boot dump of D-Cache, I-Cache, 3 partial EEPROM dumps and a dump of the BEP bulk memory. The BEP was then warm booted via SOP 61070 followed by SOP 61010 to re-start the DEA Housekeeping run. After the warm boot was confirmed and the DEA Housekeeping was loaded and the run started, we proceeded to re-dump the D-Cache, I-Cache, EEPROM and BEP bulk memories. Again, 3 dumps of the EEPROM were needed because of telemetry dropouts. There should be sufficient data to reconstruct the EEPROM dumps. It is not yet known if this new data will shed any light on the mysterious termination of OBSID 5008.
