EPH temp 68.08 deg F NOTES/ISSUES/PROBLEMS Mike Juda reports on the radiation telecon result, 00:48am EDT: "SCS-107 ran nominally at ~209:21:59 (just one sample after RADMON enable) due to high radiation. The radiation environment is anticipated to be low enough at the 19:50-20:50UT pass to resume science. Because the time required for the maneuver from the current attitude to the moon observations that were scheduled at this pass is long we expect to resume at the second moon observation." FOT attempted to get earlier comm in order to have time to maneuver and pick up the first moon observation, but it was not available. CAP 928 and its checklist were reviewed. Revised CAP 928 was approved to start an ACIS CTI run. From the 9am status meeting: Two supports over the past day, no issues. CAP 675 run to re-enable SCS 107, and the JUL2604D loads were uplinked to maneuver and resume science observations. But SCS 107 ran due to the arrival of the shock from the CME. The maneuver was completed, but SIM did not move and science run did not start. FOT/MP working on JUL2704 products to restart science observing. Expect a load review around noon. FOT/MP has the Aug0204 schedule planned, waiting for continuity to build and distribute products. Yesterday's activity, including two SCS 107 trips and the recovery from Normal Sun mode, generated about 200 limit trips. So far all have checked out to be expected. There was a problem enabling the PCAD subfunction using the recovery script -- another script successfully enabled PCAD subfunction. This issue will be investigated. All EHS passwords were successfully updated early this morning.
