Two issues: DSS-24 at 332/1000 had RED transmitter -- no telemetry to OCC; DSS-54 was out with a failed transmitter, an additional support was scheduled and prevented an SSR-A roll-over. Two segments of NOV2904B were uplinked, and on-board loads are good until 337:19:30. The long contact on 335:0605 to 1205 was rescheduled as two one-hour contacts, due to inability to schedule the ACA dark current calibration. Dark current postponement was due to the new combined thermal and pitch angle constraints. We will define additional dark sky pointing positions to alleviate the scheduling problems. The dark current calibration can be postponed for several weeks, as we now plan to do it just 3 times per year. DEC0604 schedule in work, products could be out as early as tomorrow. Visits today and Wednesday by various JWST ops personnel to discuss our Flight and ground operations. The Hill building (NE-80) parking lot was permanently closed as of today. Attendees at the 9am status meeting had no problems parking (and no other parking problems have been identified). Mike Juda explains these as shadowing of low-energy protons which cause a "flaring" component of the HRC non-X-ray background. ------------------------------------------------------- Dan Schwartz, MS #3 das@head-cfa.harvard.edu phone: (617)495-7232 FAX: (617)495-7356 cell phone: (617)512-5627 pager: 877-693-7198 PIN 693-7198 or e-mail 6937198@archwireless.net -------------------------------------------------------
