EPH temp 89.48 degF NOTES/ISSUES/PROBLEMS From the 9am status meeting: Three supports completed in the last 24 hours. No issues. At the 096/0250-0500 pass it was discovered that SCS 107 had run. This is presumed due to puffed up radiation belts as encountered the two previous years around this time. SCS 107 ran nominally. However, during the run there was a 16 second duration of the low solar array current monitor. The array power decreased from 800W to 445W briefly while instruments were shut off. This has been seen before, and interpreted as due to the fact we are at a hot attitude and therefore using very little heater power. Products APR0605A are out for telecon load review on 405 244 5060 1165# at 11am today. This will resume the observing schedule upon radiation belt egress with essential no loss of celestial observing time. APR1105A was reviewed yesterday. It needs to be reworked and reissued today to pick up continuity with APR0605 and accomodate the new criterion of shutting down for the radiation belts 13 hours before perigee passage. This criterion is being implemented based on our experience last year with the puffed up radiation belts. In resuming the observing program as previous scheduled, we will not have properly cooled EPHIN as we had planned, and therefore we anticipate, and explicitly allow, two episodes of EPHIN overheating and rail voltage trip. Predicted TEPHIN temperatures are 106.7 and 98.0, during the two EGS (extended Groth strip) observations. All building water will be shut off between the hours of 6:00am-9:00am on Saturday, April 9. Sometime this week connection of the new stair tower will take place, involving the lobby and restroom areas for about 4-5 hours.
