S/C: At yesterday's FDB, a new patch was approved (Level 2) for SCS 107 that will orient Chandra to NSM upon activation of SCS107, preventing dwell at a previous cold attitude. A new range of pitches, 155-163 can be used with this new patch. It will also permit us to program the load not to activate this feature when SCS107 is activated for short duration cold attitude observations. Also, the nominal pitch limit to avoid pline freezing was changed from 156 to 155 degrees. This is a valuable addition to our observing capability - the FOT are to be congratulated for accomplishing it. GOT/IST: We will complete the reboot of FOT workstations this morning. The new IVOD voice loop for DSN is in place at the OC console. DATA: - SOT: Goes X-ray flux - Very quiet. The voice loop phone system at the OCC is still dead, so the TST room doesn't get any voice information about comm call-ups or beginning of track.
