This is a well known and benign condition. Radiation: - Sun remains quiet. ACE P3 rate continue its long decline, down to about 70 at this time. There are no active regions at this time which are expected to produce significant activity. - Solar Activity Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be at low levels. Region 803 is capable of producing further isolated M-class flare activity. - Geophysical Activity Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be at predominantly quiet to unsettled levels for 29-31 August. IST: - Ops problems over the weekend: (1) Spontaneous reboot of SGI Ops 4 due to faulty memory. Servicing expected. (2) Problem restoring CMD functionality following a CMD server reboot.
