Solar Terrestial Activity report predicts high probability of M or X class flre activity. Today's Space Weather(http://sec.noaa.gov/today.html): 3-day Solar-Geophysical Forecast issued Jul 6 at 22:00 UTC Solar Activity Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be low. An isolated M-class event is possible from Region 783 (S03W36) and 786. Geophysical Activity Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be at quiet levels for 07 July. Unsettled to active conditions are expected for 08-09 July. T his increase in activity is due to possible effects from the halo CME observed on 05 July and also a recurrent coronal hole high speed stream moving into a geoeffective position. EPHIN rates (cts/cm^2-s-sr) at last comm. Possible TOO in the works. If approved loads would be needed by tomorrow evening. S/C: - EPHIN Rail voltage went down again due to temperature. Was expected given attitude of comet observation. Temperature followed predictions. Is back to near nominal now. Eclipse season actions will be briefed today in FDB. Also SADA anomaly flight note closeout. GOT/IST: - Water leaks in conference room have been reduced but not eliminated. Linux migration topic from SOT will be briefef in FDB. DATA: - Comet obs not out yet. Analysis complicated by point source in field. SOT: See above.
