EPH temp 83.17 degF NOTES/ISSUES/PROBLEMS From the 9am status meeting: Ten supports over the weekend. DSS-54 had a problem with ranging, they rebooted the Ranging Assembly and were successful at meeting all support requirements. Two segments of JUN0605A were uplinked -- on-board loads are good until 161:05:15. CAP 960 was run over the weekend to disable power to the redundant bus 6. This caused no change in condition in the stuck-heater in Zone 50. This implies it is not the redundant operational heater which is stuck-on, but rather the prime heater bus is the power source and has the problem. This is definitive information, but it is not clear what else can be done. The MUPS valve temperature PM2THV1T which was reported last week to have experienced continued dropouts, has changed the characteristic of these dropouts. The new behaviour shows multiple dropouts (instead of pairs) and lasting longer than an hour (instead of 12 to 15 minutes). See http://occwww.cfa.harvard.edu/occweb/FOT/engineering/reports/dailies/2005/JUN/jun03_154/P_TEMPS_24H.html (password to OCCweb is required). On day 155, Prop line 04 temperatures went below 45 deg F, to just above the 42 deg yellow limit. This followed ~10 hours at pitch 168 deg. The next day we did violate the yellow limit for ~1/2 hour, following ~10 hours at pitch 166 deg. WE THEREFORE NEED TO REVIEW and probably MODIFY the mission planning constraints. SEE: http://occwww.cfa.harvard.edu/occweb/FOT/engineering/reports/dailies/2005/JUN/jun03_154/P_TEMPS_24H.html We plan to run the pre-approved CAP to reset the MUPS thruster counter to zero, following a "rollover" last week.
