EPH temp 82.24 degF NOTES/ISSUES/PROBLEMS From the 9am status meeting: Three supports, no issues. One load segment uplinked, on-board loads are good until 164:00:00. The JUN1005B load was approved yesterday to accommodate the ToO for an ACIS-S/HETG observation of SAX J1808.4-3658. JUN1305 products will be out this morning, for a load review at 3 or 4pm this afternoon. A meeting on the RadMon Flight Software problem yesterday agreed with the FOT recommendation to backout the SCS84/SCS107 patch needed for scheduling in the PLINE restricted pitch area, then backout the RadMon patch, then get FD CCB approval for patch process improvements, test and reload the SCS84/SCS107 patch, then regenerate and reload the RadMon patch to use the HRC shield rates. However, the SCS84/SCS107 patch needs to remain in place for the ToO observation of SAX J1808.4-3658 on 163:02:32, which occurs at 163 deg pitch, and needs to be reloaded by the end of next week because a followup ToO on SAXJ1808.4-3658 is planned for early the week on JUN2005. All on the telecon concurred with the proposed patch process improvements. SEE: http://occweb.cfa.harvard.edu/occweb/FOT/engineering/anomalies_and_tech_issues/EPHIN_Off_FSW_Bug/ for a copy of the presentation. FOT is working on recommending new observing constraints to accomodate the latest PLINE04 cold excursion. PRELIMINARY thoughts are to treat the entire 155-170 deg pitch range with the 15ks limit (the current 155-163 restriction). Solar proton rates are falling slowly, about factor of 2 in last day, but rates are very low and significant solar activity is not expected. A faint and very slow partial halo CME late yesterday could possibly have an effect on Saturday. The conference room ceiling tiles have been replaced and the rugs cleaned. The Projector should be re-installed today and the room is usable. Following the 9am status meeting we reviewed and approved CAP 965 to replace the on-board loads with the ToO load products JUN1005B.
