EPH temp 65.64 degF NOTES/ISSUES/PROBLEMS From the 9am status meeting: Four supports over the past day, including one just completed. DSS-54 was unable to function yesterday for reasons not diagnosed immediately. Support was transitioned to DSS-27 and all requirements met. The load replacement CAP 965 was run to replace JUN0605A with the ToO load JUN1005B. On-board loads are good through 164:00:00:19. JUN1305A products were issued and reviewed, and revised JUN1305B products were issued and are undergoing email review for anticipated approval this morning. Obsid 6285 which was at pitch 168deg was of concern for the cooling of propline 04, following its yellow limit trip last weekend, reported in http://cxc.harvard.edu/acis/SOT_reports/Jun_06_2005_L2146.txt However the heater controlled by the P02 thermistor cycled on and temperatures only reached 44deg F. Sabina's recent data shows that P04 is cooling faster relative to P02 (and P03) so the dwell times to heat P02 need to be increased to get P02 to higher temperatures, and the allowed times at cold attitudes >155deg pitch are going to decrease. In the current observation at 153deg pitch, P04 has cooled to 44.08degF. The plan, reported Monday, to run the pre-approved CAP to reset the MUPS thruster counter to zero following a previous "rollover" was delayed while configuration management verified that this CAP was indeed preapproved. That has been established now so it is planned to be run. Solar proton flux is decreasing extremely slowly, but at < 200/cm^2/s/ster/MeV it is of no concern. Thursday's CME could reach earth around midnight Saturday. With the CXC DS release 7.6 planned for next week, and with no ACIS continuous clocking mode ORs in the JUN2005 or JUN2705 weeks, ACIS will plan to replace the CC-mode parameter blocks with the revised versions using the new bias algorithm and split threshold. This does not change the names of any parameter blocks. Only 2 fids lights are being tracked. The third fid light is not quite accessible with the SIM such that both SI are far off the aim point for the ACIS undercover background observation. The snapshot labels the missing slot 2 object as a guide star. Conference room is fully operational again. The sot_red_alert email list has been implemented for use if needed during the CfA computer facility outage tomorrow at 6-10:30am EDT. Darell and Craig will be on-console and are aware of this list.
