Next passes(yyyy:ddd:BOT-EOT)2005:171:2045-2145 2005:172:0345-0445 MP: The SCS 107/84 patch uploaded over the weekend will be needed for the high pitch angle DDT this week. We are working on the JUN2705A load. It will include comet observations coordinated with the Deep Impact Mission - before, during and after 4 July impact. S/C: With the new patches now uploaded, we will enable SCS 84 for the first time. There was a new pline 04 cold violation yesterday at 2005:170:19:5:35.1. This happened after 28 hrs at pitch=154. The temperature was 42.03 F; limit is T > 42.5 F, with a 3 degree margin. We also note that the rate of cooling at 154 degrees pitch is as fast as at 155-160. We are seeing the pline trending cooler at these pitch angles over the last few months. This may be related to being near aphelion, so it may improve as we move toward perihelion later this year. We also note that further restrictions on the pitch angle if needed will make EPHIN cooling and thruster cooling prior to momentum unloading harder. GOT/IST: We will do maintenance on the UPS tomorrow morning between TLM contacts. A battery will be changed and a remote monitoring card will be installed. DATA: A clock problem disrupted quick look processing over the weekend. SOT: Goes X-ray flux - Quiet today. One very short duration C class event yesterday.
