S/C: Because of new p-line temperature problems, we are preparing amended constraints. The problem results from our incomplete knowledge of equilibrium temperature of the p-line vs. pitch angle. We will initially prohibit pitch angles of 156-163 degrees. This prohibition will not be ideal. We need to use these pitch angles for momentum unloading and cooling. Therefore, in the medium term, we plan to patch SCS 107 to call a new SCS to take us to NSM to guard against long dwells at angles bad for the p-line during an SCS 107 safing action. In the longer term. we are contemplating a new safing monitor to go to NSM if the p-line temperature is bad. GOT/IST: They'll be painting the new conference room.
