Eng: - All OK Radiation: - Current P3 levels are very low ( < 20) as they have have been for several days. - From Today's Space Weather: 3-day Solar-Geophysical Forecast issued May 2 at 22:00 UTC Solar Activity Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be low with a chance for an isolated M-flare from Region 756. Geophysical Activity Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be quiet to unsettled. - From Solar Terrestrial Activity Report Recent Activity: New region 10758 rotated into view at the southeast limb and appears to have M class flare potential. Flares: C1.8 long duration event peaking at 21:41 and a C8.0 very long duration event peaking at 22:48 UTC. The latter event was associated with large filament eruptions to the south and north of the region. CME's: May 2: A full halo CME was observed in LASCO C3 images beginning at 06:18 UTC. There was no significant activity on the visible disk during the hours just before this observation and the origin of the CME was likely backsided, possibly with the same origin as the CMEs observed on April 30 and May 1. A large and bright CME was observed over most of the eastern limb late in the day and early on May 3. GOT: - All OK IST: - Fire alarm testing today.
