ACIS Activities this Shift

1. Second run through of the Internal Cal Source Measurement
2. Load TE Ignore Frames patch  NOT !!
3. Execute Raw Bias procedure

Spacecraft Activities

- activities focussed heavliy around preparations for the IPS #3 burn
scheduled for GMT 212:22:40; this will be exciting for ACIS because
our perigee will be 10,000 km plus from this point on. It is actually
IPS burn 5 which boosts our perigee to 10,000; IPS burn 3 boosts our
apogee to 140,000 km.

- spacecraft continued to conduct exericse manuevers.  Rob Cameron
inserted a manuever to test the hot case of the SIM since the SIM
appears to be running a little hot.

1. Internal Cal Source Measurement

  We pushed to start this measurement as early as possible after
perigee passage and the end of an earth sensor scan. Consequently, the
focal plane temperature was still on its way down to -118.9 C when we
started the measurement.

212:04:24:55 so that the spacecraft folks could do a dump in FMT 3.
We did not lose any frames because the data rate is low enough. **

** Note, there was a problem with 2 of the Dump commands not getting
through, we enabled and activated the slots a second time and the
commands worked.  This was probably an OBC hiccup but we can't be
sure.


   - Timed Exposure Faint Mode, accept counts from S2 and S3 only, no
b255 events, event amplitude filter at 2900 ADU

2. SW_TEIGNORE

  We decide to skip this procedure because the loads "1R_WU027.CLD"
and "1R_WU028.CLD" are not stored to the UDE.  Eric Martin finds them
but we would have to wait for the Flight Director Steve Terry to sign
them.  Since we can run the Raw Bias procedure without the patch and
it is actually better to keep the optional patches loaded as they
currently are, we decided to move straight to the Raw bias procedure.

3. RAW BIAS

    We run this as is, without the TE ignore patch, so the first frame
from each chip will probably have a lot of built-up charge in it.
Hopefully, we got this going in time so that we can get 27 frames from
S2 and S3 before the Radiation Belt passage at GMT 16:30
