B9 ACIS Shift Report ...Raw Bias measurement continues from Paul's shift: OBSID 62766 Start Science was at GMT 212:12:34:25 We let the ATS command the stop-science at 212:16:58. FP temp is -118.9 C We recieved the STOP_SCIENCE command echo at 212:17:06 and by 212:17:12 all the frames had been emptied from the buffer. We got 26 total raw bias frames on S2 and S3. Immediately after that we negotiated a few more minutes of FMT2 to Dump the flight software (CAP 130A). It took about 1/8 as long to carry out the entire flight software dump, as we spent doing the paperwork! Start flight SW dump: 212:17:15 Stop flight SW dump: 212:17:21 Also Peter analysed the dump and mentioned 6 packets had been dropped during the dump. OBSID changed to: 62482, and now in FMT4 The big event of the day was the IPS burn #3, which was a 20 min. burn to raise Chandra to approx. final apogee. This occured at ~212:22:30, right on schedule. Chandra is zipping to ~140,000 km now! 213:00:00 During the re-plan meeting Steve Murray mentioned that he would like to monitor pressure during A10 shift and if it is "reasonable" then HRC may want to cash in their rain-check on Cal time. Since there is more time in the new orbit above rad. belts, there may be enough time to accomodate all. What relative importance should we give to our planned activities, were one to be shortened/eliminated due to possible future HRC conflicts? Due to the geometry of the perigee passage, the cold radiators did not warm up appreciably until just after perigee, when they went to their "nominal" post-perigee temperature of ~-111C at 213:00:11 Next planned ACIS activity at 213:07:00 is ACIS INT_CAL Yousaf Butt Fred Baganoff George Chartas Peter Ford Ellen Sen
