HRC Contingency Procedures

Close Door

Description:

This procedure is to close the HRC detector housing door. Prior to closing the door, the MCP HV must be turned off and the position of the HRC shutters must be checked. If the shutters are not in the "Home" position they must be moved there in accordance with CARD item HRC-C-001. Once these steps are complete the HRC door is closed.

Procedure Trigger:

This procedure shall be executed by the Flight Operations Team at the request of the Science Operations Team; there are no automatic triggers.

HRC MCP HV Off (mcp_hv_off.html)
If +Y shutter is not at "Home" position
- Home +Y Shutter (home_posy.html)
If -Y shutter is not at "Home" position
- Home -Y Shutter (home_negy.html)
HRC Door Close (door_close.html)
