A CME associated with the long duration C-flare appears to be heading mostly away from Earth but it may be responsible for the slight increase of the ACE P3 rates (currently at ~1,000, no mission impact). There was no CME associated with the M9.4 flare. Solar activity is likely to be moderate with a slight 10% chance for an X-class flare on day one (01 May) and expected to be low with a chance for M-class flares and a slight chance for an X-class flare on day two (02 May) and expected to be low with a chance for M-class flares on day three (03 May).
