This happened during a time when realtime data and real-time dump metrics were all nominal, so following standard procedure the SSR pointers were reset in advance of receiving and analyzing the data at the OCC. Subsequent SSR dumps have been nominal with 100% data quality, so it appears the Chandra CCDM hardware is all functioning normally. The GOT will continue investigating with JPL today to search for the root cause and see if there is a way to recover the data. It is considered plausible at this point that data recovery will not be possible, so teams need to be prepared for the possibility of significant data loss during this dump. This covers approximately 163:0400 - 163:2200. An immediate action is to update the ground procedure to wait for definitive confirmation of data quality prior to resetting the SSR pointer. Mission planning will also check whether any time critical observations were impacted. Radiation: Solar activity is expected to be low with a chance for M-class flares on days one, two, and three (13 Jun, 14 Jun, 15 Jun). MP: No issues. ENG: No issues. GOT: DSS-65 comm issue.
