Pulse-Phase Spectroscopy of HER X-1 from XMM-Newton

Abstract

Her X-1 has been observed with XMM-Newton, during three different phases of the 35 day cycle. We perform a systematic pulse phase spectroscopic analysis of the three EPIC data set, and investigate the change in the phase difference between the different spectral components.
