It is a flexible system based upon components, allowing the assembly of complex ray-trace pipelines. The components included
- a ray generator, capable of simulating multiple sources (both point and extended) concurrently
- an aperture module
- a surface intercept module derived from portions of the NASA
OSAC(Optical Surface Analysis Code) software suite; - a mirror scattering module
