LSF: Line Spread Function

Distribution produced by a monochromatic source in the spectral dimension, either PHA, PI (for non-dispersive detectors, e.g. ACIS), or dispersion direction (d) e.g. for the Chandra transmission gratings (HETG and LETG). Currently one-dimensional in CIAO.
