These are approved joint Spitzer/Chandra observations: Spitzer Cycle 12 Proposal 12034 (G. Fazio, PI). Spitzer/IRAC & Chandra/ACIS-S3 will observe Sgr A* simultaneously for 24hr at each of two epochs in 2016 July. We will independently propose for submm monitoring with SMA/ALMA/APEX and other ground-based telescopes. We also have approved NuSTAR time (F. Harrison, PI). The unprecedented durations will establish the relationships between flaring in various wavebands, giving us a comprehensive view of the dominant emission process(es) and quantify the physical properties near the event horizon.
