Synopsis
Sends image of the convolved model component to ds9.
Syntax
image_model_component([id], name, [newframe=False, tile=False]] )
Description
The image_model_component command sends an image of one, or a combination of, individual 2D source model components to the imager (ds9) to allow the user to quickly visualize the contribution to the full model being used to fit the data. The model components will be convolved with any assigned PSF convolution models; the image_source_component command is available for displaying unconvolved model components. By default, the image is sent to the same frame and the frames are not tiled.
- id - the id of the data set to use; if not given, uses the default dataset id (id=1 by default, see "ahelp get_default_id")
- name - variable name representing the model component
- newframe - add a new frame; default=False
- tile - tile image frame; default=False
